MEET LINDSEY
I have found that I am a person who people feel free to speak their truth to. I’m fascinated by others' stories, and I am honored to listen. I set my sights on a brighter future, finding the silver lining in the overwhelming complexities that life can bring.

My journey into the mental health field began in 2008. In college, I worked as a Family Support Worker at a local agency. My job was to pick up elementary aged kiddos from their homes and take them out into the community. We would go to parks, go for walks, go for a drive. We would also meet at the agency’s home room where they could meet other kiddos, play games and work on relationship building and social skills. I loved it.
My first job out of college was with another agency, working in public schools. I started as a Behavior Specialist and then I was promoted to Therapist after I graduated with my Masters Degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling in 2012. It was there I earned my supervised hours, learned to navigate parent-child relationships, teacher-student relationships, and consulted with principals and my supervisor on treatment goals and interventions.
In 2015, I joined a co-op of private practice counselors in the Billings area. I really enjoyed the freedom of setting my own schedule and the variety of clients that sought me out. In addition to working with children, I also learned that I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. I find it helpful to meet with their parents separately, to learn more about how I can be there for their family.
As a mother of two young boys, I have gained the experience of being a parent. I enjoy holding space for mothers who are trying to find a work/life balance, trying to find time for themselves and trying to navigate conscious discipline with their children.
As a professional musician, I very much enjoy holding space for other creatives. Helping them work through creative blocks, encouraging them to share their talent with others and challenging them to trust themselves.

I enjoy working with people from all walks of life. If you feel that we could create a meaningful connection, please reach out!
